What started as a Twitter group to "create a safe space to network, uplift, support, and amplify Black contributions to anatomical science" has become a full-fledged 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Black in Anatomy Inc. produces a seasonal newsletter and maintains a website that provides resources, community support, and fosters connection through events such as Black Anatomy Week.
