“I remember once getting a telephone call, so I pick up the phone and I recognized his voice. I said, “oh, Doctor Ladman.” 

He says, “Jeffrey, good, you're alive. I was wondering what happened and how long is it gonna take to finish the review of this paper?”

That was all it took. I got cracking and went to work with that.”

As Dr. Laitman reflects on Dr. Ladman's impact, it becomes evident that he wasn't merely an editor; he was a guiding force, a luminary whose influence stretched far beyond the journal's pages. He always wanted more to come because he believed very strongly in the history of our association and what it meant and that it was for all anatomists, and he was very proud of that.”
