Candidate Statement: As a student member and beneficiary of AAA generosity for ten years, I am sincerely humbled and inspired to volunteer to run as the student/postdoc director on the AAA board of directors. My long-term membership and participation in AAA programs will be an asset if I serve on the AAA board. I will bring my experience of collaboration and shared decision-making in global partnerships to work with other members to serve the AAA. I am excited to share my thoughts and actively listen to other members as we work together to actualize AAA's strategic plan.My vision for AAA will be to promote initiatives emphasizing more support for student/postdoc members to enhance their educational and career interests. I will advocate for considerable funding and propose career mentorship program that underpins a continuous professional development framework to attract and retain student/postdoc members. Finally, I will promote global anatomy outreach activities to advance AAA membership.
